To get Neutral Elements in Destiny 2, you will need to find Deepsight Resonance weapons and attune them. Attuning involves leveling the weapon to a certain point where extracting materials such as Adroit Element unlocks.

You can attune Deepsight Resonance weapons by killing enemies in Destiny 2. You can attune weapons fast by completing and farming various missions and the following activities:

• Nightfalls
• Strikes
• Public Events
• Main Missions
• Quests
• Gambit

Eventually, resource extraction will unlock on your Deepsight Resonance Weapon after you reach a certain point. At this point, you can extract Neutral Element along with a choice of Adroit Element or Ruinous Element. Both options will include a total of 200 Neutral Elements.

That being said, we highly recommend farming Neutral Elements from DSR weapons whenever possible in Destiny 2. Over time, you will need as many of the resources as possible to use in the crafting system in Destiny 2.
