Kirby and the Forgotten Land follows a familiar formula seen in many Nintendo franchised games. There are seven worlds in the main game, with worlds 1 through 5 containing four stages and a boss battle, world 6 containing five stages and a boss battle, and world 7 containing the final boss battle and no additional stages.

All worlds in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Players will be able to explore the seven worlds through the main story in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which culminates in the final boss battle at Lab Discovera. After defeating this boss, the player will be able to talk to a character named Carol, who is found on a building in the west part of Waddle Dee Town. Talking to this NPC will grant the player access to a hidden world called Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams though this world is not a part of the game's story.
