After the fire is lit, you can use logs from trees to keep the fire going, and when the fire is going, place the pot filled with water on top of it.

Next, you will need to wait until you see the contaminated icon on the pot of water disappear. When the icon goes away, you will have successfully boiled water.

But what about ovens? Well, it's more or less the same deal as campfires. Start by just grabbing a pot of water and placing it inside an oven. Afterward, you will need to open the oven's settings, turn it on, and increase the temperature to boil water.

You can do this by right-clicking the oven and opening its settings tab. That said, once it's placed and boiling, it's the same deal as the campfire, and you will need to wait until the contaminated icon goes away.
