On the morning of Jan. 25, Patch 6.08 for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker dropped. With it, a host of changes for classes and the all-important release of the Oceanian data center.

Below, we’ve broken down the patch notes, highlighting the game’s job changes and other balance updates.

Patch 6.08 Job Changes

Almost all DPS classes, as well as Paladins and Warriors got some damage buffs in the 6.08 patch.

Paladin

Paladin got a little love for this patch with Warrior and Gunbreaker doing massive amounts of damage.

Marauder/Warrior

There are no nerfs yet for Warriors, who get their ranged option increased in potency.

Monk

Monk gets a bit more damage.

Dragoon

Dragoon tether is gone! Other than that, some nice buffs to damage.

Rogue/Ninja

Ninja’s kit got some tweaks to increase damage overall. As a result, good Ninjas got better, and bad Ninjas have even more potential for damage.

Samurai

Samurai got overall more damage.

Machinist

You know the “Drill,” more damage.

Dancer

Dancer got more damage as well.

Thuamaturge/Black Mage

The standstill and do damage class got more damage.

Summoner

Summoner got more damage too!

Oceanian Data Center

The Oceanian data center has been added! You can now select it from the Data Center menu on the title screen. Currently, all Oceanian worlds are designated as “New Worlds.” That means a double EXP bonus until level 80.

Patch notes are also available on the official Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone website.
