Evolving Pokémon does not work the same way in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that it has in previous Pokémon games. One of the ways that Pokémon will evolve in this game is by holding specific items, and then being instructed to evolve by the player. One of those held items is the Shiny Stone. There are certain Pokémon that will need to be holding this item before players can tell it to evolve.

• Togetic: Once players give Togetic a Shiny Stone they will have the ability to evolve it into Togekiss.
• Roselia: Once players give Roselia a Shiny Stone they will have the ability to evolve it into Roserade.

It is important to note that once a Pokémon evolves while holding an item, that item will disappear. Players will only be able to use each evolution item one time, so it is important that they choose which Pokémon to evolve carefully.
